Mowing

Mowing at the right height is vital to your lawn's health and appeal. In general, the longer you let your lawn grow, the deeper the root system will develop, thereby increasing its chance of withstanding periods of the drought and severe heat. If you cut too low, your lawn may develop a shallow root system, making it susceptible to drying out and requiring more maintenance to stay healthy. Additionally, too low a cut may also provide just enough sunlight for weeds to germinate and gain a foot-hold.

Seeding

Seeding a thinning lawn is extremely crucial. Our goal at Just In Time, is to give you the thickest lawn possible. Our seeding process begins right after the core aeration is completed.

Fertilizing

For those of us who want our lawn looking its best, then it's a good idea to fertilize your lawn 4 to 5 times a year. We encourage at least 4 applications to your lawn per year. We will gauruntee your lawn will be looking the best on the block with only 4 of our treatments, along with proper watering.

Mulching

Properly applied, mulch can give landscapes a handsome, well-groomed appearance. If the mulch is too deep or if the wrong material is used, it can actually cause significant harm to trees and other landscape plants. Click the image to the left to view our available colors.

Shrub Trimming

The most severe cutting-back of shrubs is best done in early spring, just prior to the emergence of new growth. We've had success rejuvenating large Yews, Junipers, Rhododendrons, and many other varieties during this early-season time frame.

Core Aeration

Most turfgrasses growing in heavy clay or poor soils benefit greatly from annual aeration to reduce thatch buildup and more importantly, to relieve soil compaction. This cultural treatment will help improve the recycling flow of air, water, and fertilizer to your grass plants. This, in turn, will help to rejuvenate your grass by allowing the roots to grow deeper, creating healthier grass plants and keeping your lawn thicker and greener.

Retaining walls can help turn "ordinary" landscaping into amazing works of art. A nice casual retaining wall can bring the landscaping in your front yard to life, making plants and other decor stand out even more.
